Ava has started smiling back at us. Let me tell you, nothing melts your heart more than your own child smiling at you. Oh, she also has a best friend - the fan! She has conversations with him and just is mesmerized by him, that silly fan. If I turn the fan on for a second to make it move, she stops, her jaw drops and her eyes get big as if she's saying, "wow that is AMAZING". It's hysterical. Oh the things that tickle you when you have a baby!
Ava is 7 weeks, one day old.
